This privacy policy applies to the Orrery app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Paeliaq (the "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".
Orrery performs all calculations on your device. No astronomy data, location data, or personal information is sent to any Paeliaq server.
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Pages and screens visited within the Application
- Time and date of use
- Time spent within the Application
- The operating system of your mobile device
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device beyond what is needed to compute local sky positions.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.
The Service Provider may contact users periodically to provide important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.
Third-Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymised data may be periodically transmitted to external services to help improve the Application. The Application uses the following third-party service:
- Google Play Services
The Service Provider does not share personally identifiable information with third parties in ways other than described in this policy.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application. Use the standard uninstall process available on your device or via the app marketplace.
Data Retention
The Service Provider retains user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you wish to have any data deleted, please contact paeliaqltd@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13 years of age. The Application does not address anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact paeliaqltd@gmail.com so it can be removed.
Security
The Service Provider takes reasonable precautions and follows industry best practices to protect against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of your information.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of any changes.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as set out in this Privacy Policy, and to any amendments made by the Service Provider from time to time.
